Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of nissiphoto.com: the pages you are reading now, the
consultation form, and the private client galleries at /g/. They are not
the contract you sign when you book a wedding or session with Sharon; that agreement
covers the actual photography work and lives separately from this website.
Who runs this site
This site is published by Nissi Photo, the wedding and portrait photography studio of Sharon Rodriguez, based in Attleboro, Massachusetts. By using this site you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree with them, the simplest step is to stop using the site and reach out through /contact/ with any questions.
The photographs belong to Sharon
Every photograph on this site, in the portfolio, the galleries, and anywhere else on nissiphoto.com, is copyrighted by Sharon Rodriguez / Nissi Photo. That includes images inside a client's private gallery. You may not copy, republish, sell, or otherwise use these photographs outside of the personal, non-commercial way a client gallery is meant to be enjoyed (viewing them, sharing them with the people who were part of that day, printing them for your own home) without our written permission first. If you would like to use a photograph for something beyond that, such as a publication, a business, or a paid product, ask us. We say yes more often than you might think, but we need to be asked.
Gallery passcodes are for you
If Sharon has photographed your wedding or session, the passcode to your gallery is meant for you and the family and friends you choose to invite in, not for the open internet. Please do not post your gallery passcode publicly: on social media, in a group chat that is really a crowd, or anywhere a stranger could find it. Galleries hold real photographs of real people who trusted us with their day, and the passcode is the only thing standing between that gallery and anyone who stumbles across the link.
Using this site fairly
Use this site the way it is meant to be used: to look at the work, learn about sessions, and reach out if you would like to book one. Do not try to break into a gallery that is not yours, scrape or bulk download photographs, interfere with the site's normal operation, or use anything on this site to harass, impersonate, or mislead anyone. We reserve the right to revoke gallery access for anyone who misuses it.
No promise the site is always up
We built this site to be reliable, but we are a small studio, not a data center. We do not promise the site, the galleries, or the contact form will be available every minute of every day, free of errors, or uninterrupted. If something is down, current clients should reach Sharon directly the way she has already given you; everyone else can simply try the contact form again shortly after.
Prices shown here are starting points
The numbers on the investment page and elsewhere on this site, for weddings, families, portraits, maternity, and headshots, are starting prices for the most common version of that session. They are the beginning of a conversation, not a quote. Your actual price depends on coverage hours, travel, and any add ons you choose; you will always see the real number in writing, in a proposal or agreement, before you are asked to pay anything.
Links to other places
This site links out to Instagram and Facebook, and occasionally to other outside sites. We do not control what those platforms do, and these terms do not reach past our own site's edge. Anything you do on Instagram or Facebook is covered by their own rules, not ours.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site or the studio changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the update.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from your use of this site will be handled under Massachusetts law.
